When using a HammerAI website or making API calls to HammerAI, we may log page views using a self-hosted version of Umami (https://umami.is), a GDPR & CCPA compliant, open source, no cookies, privacy-friendly traffics insights package. According to https://umami.is/blog/gdpr-compliant-website-analytics: "By default, Umami anonymizes all visitor data, stripping away any personally identifiable information (PII). No personal data is ever collected or processed, making Umami fully compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)." 2. When using purchasing a license to activate Pro features, we see information which Gumroad (https://gumroad.com/) collects and stores for us. If you purchase a Pro license you agree to the collect of data by Gumroad and their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not connect the information collected by Gumroad with the information that HammerAI services collect. You may also choose to not purchase a Pro license and then you do not have to provide any information to Gumroad.
3. When you submit feedback, we record the IP address along with the submitted feedback. We do this to understand whether the same user is submitting the same feedback many times. If you do not want your IP address to be recorded, please do not submit feedback. You may also choose to enter your email when submitting feedback. In this case, we will store your email along with the feedback. We do not use this email for any purpose other than to respond to your feedback.
4. We use Sentry (https://sentry.io) for error tracking and crash reporting. When an error occurs while using our Services, Sentry may automatically collect technical information such as the error message, stack trace, browser type, operating system, and device information. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected through Sentry. 5. Other usage data may be automatically collected when using HammerAI by the tools and services HammerAI uses to provide our services. Specifically, we use Cloudflare, Supabase, and Vercel. By using HammerAI you agree to these services collecting data according to their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Service.

2. We understand how many different users are requesting different features.
3. We understand what geographic region our users are coming from, so we can accordingly make our products better.
4. We use our activity numbers to track our users' overall app engagement so we can figure out whether our products are delivering our users' needs.
However, we may retain non-personal data collected through our services for a reasonable period to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and to comply with legal obligations. The specific duration for which we retain data may vary depending on the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is processed.

The only information that you provide is the content you include when creating a character. This includes the description about the character and the avatar image for that character. You should not include any personally identifiable information here.Information we get when you use our services.

HammerAI does not use user data to train AI models internally. Your conversations, characters, stories, and other content are not used by HammerAI to train or fine-tune any AI models. However, when you interact with AI characters, your messages are sent to third-party AI providers (such as those accessed through OpenRouter) to generate responses. These third-party providers may have their own data usage and training policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the AI providers you use through our Services.Business Transfers
If HammerAI is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, bankruptcy, or other business transfer, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. When you delete your account:- Your profile information, private characters, and private stories will be permanently deleted.
- Conversations stored locally on your device are not affected by account deletion — you control those directly on your device.
- Characters and stories you have published publicly may remain on the platform but will no longer be associated with your account.
- Any data held by third-party services (such as payment processors) is subject to their own data retention policies.
