Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines describe how we expect users to interact with each other and with HammerAI. For guidelines specific to content creation, please see our Content Guidelines.

These guidelines apply to all HammerAI platforms and communities, including our website, mobile app, desktop app, and any associated communities on Discord and Reddit.

1. Age Requirement

1.1 Adults Only

By using HammerAI you agree that you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of consent in the jurisdiction from which the Services are being accessed, whichever is greater. If a user is suspected to be under 18, the associated account will be deleted without notice. We enforce this strictly and will terminate accounts that do not comply with this rule.

2. Content Compliance

2.1 Follow the Rules

All content uploaded by users — including characters, stories, profile pictures, usernames, and comments — must abide by our Terms of Service and Content Guidelines. You can refer to the Content Guidelines for specifics on what content is and isn't allowed.

3. Respect for All

3.1 Treat Others with Respect

Treat everyone with respect. There is zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, and discrimination. This includes content or behavior that targets individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

3.2 No Impersonation

Do not impersonate other users, HammerAI staff, or any real person. Do not falsely imply that your content is sponsored or endorsed by HammerAI.

4. No Spam or Self-Promotion

4.1 Contribute Meaningfully

Avoid spamming or excessive self-promotion. Contribute meaningfully to discussions. Do not use HammerAI to distribute spam, misleading content, chain messages, or repetitive and irrelevant content.

5. Privacy and Personal Information

5.1 Respect Privacy

Respect others' privacy. Do not share personal information without consent. We do not allow content made with the intent of violating privacy (also known as "doxing"). For more details on content restrictions, please refer to our Content Guidelines regarding real people and privacy violations.

6. Interactions Between Users

6.1 Be Constructive

Comments, reviews, and other interactions between users must be respectful. Under no circumstances may these be used to send hateful comments or personal attacks towards another user. Content containing threats of violence, wishes of bodily harm, or any form of hate speech will be removed and may result in a ban.

6.2 Interpersonal Conflict

HammerAI is not responsible for managing interpersonal conflicts between users. If you have a problem with another user, we encourage you to block them and disengage from the situation.

7. Serious Violations

7.1 Immediate Termination

There are certain violations so serious that they justify immediate and permanent banning from HammerAI. The following violations will result in account termination (this list is not exhaustive):
  • Doxing and privacy violations: Sharing personal information of others without consent, including real names, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying details.
  • Child exploitation and grooming: Any involvement with child sexual abuse material, grooming of minors, or sexual exploitation of children.
  • Violent threats and incitement: Making credible threats of violence against individuals or groups, or inciting violence against others.
  • Hate crimes and extremism: Participation in or promotion of hate groups, extremist organizations, or activities that target individuals based on protected characteristics.
  • Sexual harassment: Engaging in sexual harassment or predatory behavior towards other users.
  • Stalking and harassment: Systematic harassment, stalking, or intimidation of individuals.
  • Fraud and scams: Engaging in financial fraud, scams, or other deceptive practices that harm others.

8. Reporting Violations

8.1 How to Report

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please use the in-app report feature or contact us at hammeraiteam@gmail.com. All reports are reviewed promptly. Please avoid sharing reports or calling out users publicly, as this can lead to unnecessary harassment. Let the moderation team handle it.

8.2 Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may contact us at hammeraiteam@gmail.com to request a review.

9. Agreement to Terms

9.1 Your Responsibility

By using HammerAI you agree that you have read and understood our Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, and these Community Guidelines. Failing to follow these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or being banned from the platform.

10. Moderator Authority

10.1 Discretion

Moderators and administrators of HammerAI have the right to change site rules, remove any content, and ban users at their discretion. Users are responsible for remaining current with any and all changes. We will make a best effort to notify you of any changes to the guidelines.

11. Wellness

11.1 Healthy Boundaries

While our characters are engaging, remember that they are AI systems created for entertainment. We encourage you to maintain healthy boundaries and be mindful of your wellbeing when interacting with them. AI characters are not a substitute for real human connection or professional support.
