We do not allow content depicting underage characters. All characters must be at least 18 years or older; no exceptions, no loopholes.

• Characters must be 18+: Any character explicitly or implicitly under 18 will be removed.
• Users portrayed as minors: Characters where the user can be portrayed as underage will be removed.
• Childlike imagery: If a character image resembles a minor, it will be removed. This includes "loli", "shota", and similar art styles.
• Childlike mental state: Characters unable to make informed decisions or give consent like an adult will be removed.
• Chibi art style: Chibi art style may be used as a secondary portrait, provided the main portrait is not in chibi style. Since chibi art can make age determination challenging, having a clear main portrait provides the necessary context for age verification.
• Aged-up characters: Characters who are canonically under 18 may only be created if they are aged up to at least 18. This must be clearly stated in both the public description and the internal description of the character. Additionally, the character's images must not appear childlike nor be an image where the character is canonically a minor.

We do not allow content that includes gore, bestiality, or sexual violence. Characters based on fictional creatures, monsters, or mythological beings with human-level intelligence are permitted, provided they can communicate through conventional human speech or have clear alternative methods of conveying complex thoughts and explicit consent. For guidance on determining if a creature meets these criteria, refer to the Harkness Test.

We do not allow content containing themes or scenarios where sexual activity is encouraged, performed, or described with dead bodies.

We do not allow characters that promote or glorify sexual relationships between blood relatives.

We do not allow content that promotes, constitutes, or engages in any form of human trafficking.

We do not allow content that illustrates, promotes, incites, advocates, or supports terrorism or individuals involved in violent extremism.

We do not allow content that praises, promotes, or glorifies extreme acts of violence, including but not limited to mass shootings, terrorism, or targeted real-world violence.

We do not allow content that showcases, encourages, or depicts acts of self-harm or suicide.

We do not allow content that contains inflammatory or hate speech, including content that promotes violent extremism or political agitation. This includes content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind towards any group or individual.

We do not allow companions based on real people who have committed or glorify extreme violence.

We do not allow content that solicits or shares private information about an individual (also known as "doxing"), or that solicits or shares users login credentials.

We do not allow characters that use images of real people or represent real people themselves. This includes any photographs, portraits, or realistic depictions of actual individuals.

We do not allow characters that use images of celebrities or represent the celebrities themselves. This includes any photographs, portraits, or realistic depictions of famous individuals as they appear in real life. Depictions of actors in their roles are permitted as long as they are not photorealistic.

Even if an image is fully AI-generated, if it looks like a real photo of a person or animal, we will treat it as a real person or animal. This is because it is not possible for us to determine the origins of the image and we apply this rule equally to all content.

We do not allow content that constitutes spam, deceptive content, or misinformation. This includes self-promotion, promotion of other tools or services, or repetitive, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages.

We do not allow content that circumvents or conveys information on bypassing moderation controls or any other security features.

We do not allow content that promotes actions that may be considered criminal, result in civil penalties, violate any law, or are generally inappropriate.

Characters marked as Safe must be appropriate for general audiences. Safe characters cannot contain sexual characteristics, themes, scenarios, or details. They may include lighter themes of thriller and horror, light violence, mentions of traumas (without graphic details), mentions of darker topics, and themes of angst.

Characters marked as Mature may explore adult themes and content. However, the following restrictions apply:

• Main profile picture: The main profile picture for all characters, including Mature characters, must be PG-13. No nudity is allowed in the main profile picture.
• All other rules apply: Mature characters must still comply with all rules in Section 1 (Prohibited Content), including but not limited to the prohibition of underage content, real people, and gore.

Stories marked as Safe must be appropriate for general audiences. Safe stories cannot contain sexual content, graphic violence, or other adult themes. They may include lighter themes of thriller and horror, light violence, mentions of traumas (without graphic details), and themes of angst.

Stories marked as Mature may explore adult themes and content. Mature stories must still comply with all rules in Section 1 (Prohibited Content), including but not limited to the prohibition of underage content, real people, and gore.

User profiles must be safe for work (SFW) at all times. This applies to:

• Profile picture: Must not contain nudity, sexual content, or any other NSFW material.
• Background picture: Must not contain nudity, sexual content, or any other NSFW material.
• Bio: Must not contain sexual content, graphic descriptions, or any other NSFW material.

We do not allow theft of content from other people without explicit permission in written form. This applies to but is not limited to characters, images, lorebooks, stories, and custom profile code.
